Works & Process: Peter & the Wolf at the Guggenheim
Isaac Mizrahi narrates and directs Sergei Prokofiev’s charming children’s classic Peter & the Wolf, accompanied by Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect and conducted by Michael P. Atkinson. The cast, wearing costumes by Mizrahi, performs choreography by John Heginbotham, bringing the thirty-minute story to life for the young––and the young at heart.
Avaloch Farm Music Institute Residency
With flutist Rebecca Moranis and composer Madeline Barrett, I will partake in a Winter Residency at the Avaloch Farm Music Institute to develop and support the composition and performance of several of pieces for flute and piano by Barrett.

I will accompany Brooklyn-based flutist Annie Wu in presenting her latest classical album Not Too Sweet — named after the cheeky Chinese phrase for the perfect dessert — in a show of flute and piano music interwoven with personal stories about nostalgia, memory, and childhood.

As part of the Sacred Music at Columbia series, I will perform Olivier Messiaen’s Quatuor pour le fin du temps, written while Messiaen was a prisoner of war in a German camp during World War II, with Louis Arques (clarinet), Alexander Goldberg (violin), and Cheng “Allen” Liang (cello).

A Celebration of Ravel
As part of the Music in Midtown series, this concert will feature an all-Ravel program in the 150th anniversary year of his birth. I will perform his Impressionistic solo piano set, Miroirs, in full.
3rd DMA Degree Recital
In fulfillment of my requirements for the Doctor of Musical Arts program at the CUNY Graduate Center, I will present my third degree recital, centered around my dissertation topic (the piano music of Ed Bland). Tertulia and bean-to-bar chocolate makers Dandelion team up to present Brooklyn-based flutist Annie Wu’s dessert-inspired show “Not Too Sweet" with dessert pairings.

Sundays at Four: The Music of Ed Bland
I will perform alongside clarinetist Charles Neidich, cellist Audrey Chen, and flutist Rebecca Moranis in a concert centered around the music of Ed Bland. My upcoming dissertation is centered around his solo piano music, which I will perform selections from, as well as his Clarinet Trio, and other jazz-inspired American chamber music.

I will perform as a substitute orchestral keyboard player with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida on the concert “Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances.”
Wideman Piano Competition
I am a semifinalist in the 2024 Wideman Piano Competition, a concerto competition held in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Music in Midtown: A Celebration of Gabriel Fauré.
As part of the CUNY Graduate Center’s Music in Midtown series, this special event will celebrate the centennial year of Gabriel Fauré’s passing with a concert of his music, including my performance with soprano Amber Evans of songs from La Bonne Chanson.
Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra
I will perform in several concerts as an ensemble and orchestra member of the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, as part of the 2024 Lucerne Summer Festival in Switzerland. Works to be performed by Schoenberg, Saariaho, Abrahamsen, Feldman, Lisa Streich, and more.
